Van Beest processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or you have provided them to us yourself. You will find an overview of the personal data that we process below:

The purpose and basis for processing your personal data Van Beest processes your personal data for the following purposes:

The period for which personal data is retained
Van Beest retains your personal data for no longer than is necessary in order to achieve the purposes for which your details are collected.

Van Beest will not sell your data to third parties and only discloses it if it is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processors agreement with companies that process your data on our instructions in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality. Use of permanent cookies
We can recognise you when you visit our website again by means of a permanent cookie. This allows the website to be specially set to your preferences. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.
Buttons may be included on our website in order to promote (‘like’) or share (‘tweet’) web pages on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. These buttons work by means of pieces of codes that come from Facebook and Twitter. Cookies are placed by means of this code. This is something over which we have no control. The information that we collect is anonymised as far as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by Twitter, Facebook Google + and LinkedIn on servers in the United States. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google + oblige themselves to maintain the Privacy Shield principles and are participants in the Privacy Shield programme of the United States Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.
Access to, and amendment and deletion of, data
You have the right of access to your personal data and to correct or delete it. You also have the right to withdraw any permission for, or object to, the processing of your personal data by Van Beest and you also have the right of data portability.
This means that you can also submit a request to us to send the personal data we have in a computer file to you or to another organisation nominated by you. You can submit a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer of your personal data or withdraw your permission for, or object to, the processing of your personal data by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In order to be certain that you indeed have sent the request, please include a copy of a proof of identity with it. Make sure that your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of your passport), passport number and any citizen service number [Burgerservicenummer or BSN] cannot be seen to protect your privacy. We will reply as soon as possible and no later than four weeks.
